VATI Technology Navigator

What is the VATI Technology Navigator?

Many people want to be able to spend their twilight years living independently in their own homes. To make this possible despite any age-related limitations, it can be helpful to use technical aids.

The Institute for Health, Aging, and Technology offers the VATI Navigator, a tool that can be used to research technical aids. This enables the generation of targeted and problem-oriented recommendations for specific technologies based on individual needs.

In addition, we offer information on regional partners in the areas of age-appropriate living and home adaptation

What possibilities does the VATI Technology Navigator offer?

The assistant helps you make decisions:

  • A questionnaire about your health/physical limitations can be used to determine your needs.
  • Based on this, product categories are recommended that can help in your particular situation.
  • All products and services can be accessed beyond the questionnaire via other paths, such as specific areas of application within the home or frequently occurring clinical pictures.

The navigator offers independent information about:

  • An integrated support network of regional product suppliers, service providers, and advice centers on the subject of aging in your own home.
