From April 23 to 26, young people from the border triangle region and students from the HSZG gathered for “Future Production II” to jointly prepare for the “Future Congress,” which will take place on June 18 at Telux in Weißwasser.

In various working groups, young people and students worked together to prepare for facilitating different thematic workshops and selected artistic contributions to be presented as part of a supporting program on June 18. On the grounds of the former glassworks, which now houses a sociocultural center, young people from the region will engage in dialogue with stakeholders from government, politics, and civil society in June to discuss the region’s future. Topics will include shaping sustainable, future-oriented structural change, promoting social cohesion, and exploring opportunities for youth participation. Interested young people from the region are warmly invited to attend the Congress and join the discussion.
